Red Lobster Restaurant in Talleyville

PACE was contracted to handle the electrical remodel for the Red Lobster Restaurant in Talleyville, DE. The project required keeping the restaurant open and continuing to serve customers during regular business hours. PACE worked behind the scenes and the overnight shift to install new lighting throughout the restaurant, making sure the facility was ready for use each morning.

Red Lobster is a chain restaurant owned by the Darden Corporation. PACE has also earned the service and repair work at this and other local Darden properties. The above he project was completed in 8 weeks and came in as budgeted.

Sunrise Senior Assisted Living

Sunrise of Wilmington is a unique senior living community with a warm, comforting environment. Active seniors delight in our wide range of activities and amenities, including exercise classes and socials.

The customer was interested in having lighting installed around the exterior of the building.  PACE designed and installed a stunning LED lighting solution.

The project was completed in 6 weeks and came in under budget.

University of Delaware

PACE was selected by the Delaware Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors to receive the chapter's Excellence in Construction Award in the over $1 million category.

The project required preserving the 100-year old former First Presbyterian Church and integrating it into the new 107,000 square foot, 21.3 million dollar student center.


Almost 1,400 overtime hours, working 16 hour days was expended during the 2-week push to open the building on-time.

Frawley Stadium

PACE was selected to build the new 'Single A' baseball stadium, not only based on price, but also because it was over budget and PACE had the expertise to value engineer the electrical portion of work and help bring the project within budget.

Even though the budget considerations and negotiations held up the start date of the stadium, and workers endured one of the toughest winters in Delaware history, the first pitch was thrown out by the great Robin Roberts, a veteran of the Philadelphia Philles, on the originally projected first day of the season.

Ideas while visiting other facilities on the east coast, with team owner Matt Minker, lead to a project that gave the Blue Rocks what they wanted without compromising with the integrity of facility. For future aspirations the 80', 110', & 130' sports lighting poles were designed with extra capacity.

Fairview Assisted Living Facility

Located in Rising Sun, Maryland the Fairview facility is affordable apartment living for seniors. It is more than just a home for the residents; it offers a sense of community. They also have the comfort of knowing that the on call nurses can help with their medical needs.

PACE Electric, Inc. worked for Harkins Builders, Inc. on this project and was identified as the contractor that drove the project to an early completion. This project was awarded at $167,302-328-2600 and grew to almost $200,302-328-2600 through change orders.

Fairview is a two-story building that consists of one and two bedroom apartments. Each room is equipped with fire alarm, nurse call, telephone, and intercom systems. The building also had a basement, numerous offices and common areas.

Computer Aid Inc.

Computer Aid, Inc. is a global IT services firm that is currently managing engagements with numerous Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. Currently with a staff of over 4,500 professionals located around the world, CAI has become a world leader in IT metric and Productivity.

Computer Aid Inc needed to have a backup generator installed to protect their company and clients during power outages. PACE designed a system and completed installation of a 150kW GENERAC generator. PACE worked with the Landord, Tenant and roofing experts to successfully install the 4,500 lb unit on the roof.
